Movie goofs

• Though it is set in Louisiana, which is the only state or commonwealth in the United States to have parishes instead of counties, Charlotte and Miriam keep referring to the "County Commissioner."
• While Harry Willis is waiting outside the Hollis plantation house with the note for Charlotte, he licks and seals the envelope. It is unsealed, however, when she opens it.
