Hurby Azor
Hurby "Luv Bug" Azor is the producer responsible for discovering the successful female rap trio Salt N Pepa. In the mid '80s, with the fad of rap response records all the rage, Hurby had them record a response to Doug E. Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew's "The Show" called "The Show Stoppa". Though not as popular as most response records, Get Fresh Crew rapper Slick Rick (Ricky Walters) did note years later, after he and the women later became friends, that the record annoyed him. Hurby would go to produce Salt N Pepa, Dana Dane and others. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
