Huntsville, Texas
Huntsville is a city and also a newly designated micropolitan area located in the U.S. state of Texas within Walker County. As of the U.S. Census 2000, the city had a total population of 35,078. Huntsville is the home of Sam Houston State University. It is the county seat of Walker County{{GR|6}} and is situated in East Texas.

Huntsville is located at 30°42'41" North, 95°32'54" West (30.711254, -95.548373){{GR|1}}.
