Huntington Woods, Michigan
Huntington Woods, known as the "City of Homes," is a city located in Oakland County, Michigan, and a suburb of Detroit. The city is bounded by Ten Mile and Eleven Mile Roads to the north and south, and Coolidge Highway and Woodward Avenue to the west and east. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 6,151. Famous residents include former Detroit Tiger pitcher Dan Petrie, and local sportscaster Bernie Smilovitz.
