Hotchkiss School

The Hotchkiss School is a private, coeducational preparatory school in Lakeville, Connecticut, USA.

Campus and facilities

The school is located in a rural setting in 545 acres (2 km²) of woodland near two lakes. The school's wealth has given it facilities comparable to those of many universities, including a 715-seat glass-enclosed performing arts center and music pavilion, and an athletic center that houses a 10 lane swimming pool and two ice hockey rinks. Outdoor facilities include climbing walls and a 9-hole golf course created by designer Seth Raynor. An adjacent lake, Wononscopomuc, has a boat house and is used for sailing.
