Horst Mahler
Horst Mahler (born January 23, 1936), is a German lawyer and active member within both the Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands (NPD) and Deutsches Kolleg, a right-wing think-tank calling for a nationalist revolution in Germany. Along with Reinhold Oberlecher and Uwe Meenen, he stands against the status quo of the American and Western Countries, with his rhetoric tending to be anti-semetic.
The NPD and His New Political Allegiance
His name has resurfaced only recently in connection with the neo-fascist movement, emerging with ideas about religion, tradition, jewish conspiracy and the role of foreigners. He has since joined the German right-wing party Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands (NPD), which he successfully defended in a trial before the Bundesverfassungsgericht, the highest court in Germany, about the prohibition of the NPD.
