Horror punk
Horror punk is a dark style of music mixing Gothic and punk rock sounds with morbid imagery. Often, song topics are taken from horror movies, but the best horror punk creates atmosphere by telling tales through the song. It is closely related to and often overlaps with the Death Rock movement; which tends to lean more towards the goth or rockabilly sound—usually excluding hardcore punk and metal bands.
