Holmes Chapel
Known formerly as Church Hulme, Holmes Chapel is a village in central Cheshire, in Congleton borough. Population (2001 census): 5,669. It is located at the junction of the A50 and A54, close to the M6 motorway. According to the census, the village ranks as the 18th least deprived ward in the United Kingdom (out of 8,414). Holmes Chapel has rail links to Manchester and Crewe, making it a good base for commuting.
