Three ships of the Royal Australian Navy have borne the name Stuart for John McDouall Stuart, explorer and surveyor.

- The first HMAS Stuart (D-00/100) was a Scott class destroyer, launched on 22 August 1918.
- The second HMAS Stuart (F-21/DE-48) was one of six Type 12/River class frigates/destroyer escorts built for the RAN. It was launched on 8 April 1961
- The third HMAS Stuart (FFH 153) is an Anzac class frigate, launched on 17 April 1999.
