Hitomi Yoshizawa

Hitomi Yoshizawa (吉澤 ひとみ, born April 12, 1985, in Saitama Prefecture), is the leader of the musical group Morning Musume. Known as Yossi or Yocchan to her friends, she is a 4th Generation member. After Rika Ishikawa graduated in May 2005, Hitomi has become the last remaining member of her generation. She will also be the member in the current lineup who has been in the group for the longest amount of time.

In the past, she has been percieved as the "boyish" member of the group, with her mannerisms and hobbies. She led for the first time in the single Mr Moonlight ~Ai no Big Band~, her character being a dashing playboy which only added to the buzz around her masculine side. Since then, she has matured out of her tomboyish ways and is now leading Morning Musume quite admirably, considering Mari Yaguchi's sudden resignation.
