Hither Green railway station

Hither Green railway station is in the London Borough of Lewisham in south east London. It is in Travelcard Zone 3, and the station and all trains are operated by South Eastern Trains.

There are two sets of platforms — a set of four on the main line from Charing Cross to Sevenoaks, and a set of two platforms on the Dartford loop, via Sidcup. North of the station, there is a junction to allow trains to call at or avoid Lewisham station. There are also extensive sidings and a freight depot just south of the station.

Platforms 1 and 2 are on the fast lines to Sevenoaks, platforms 3 and 4 are on the slow lines to Sevenoaks, and platforms 5 and 6 are on the Dartford Loop.

• 2tph (trains per hour) to London Cannon Street, running fast to St Johns then calling at all stations
• 4tph to London Charing Cross, of which two run fast to London Bridge and the other two call at Lewisham before running fast from there to London Bridge
• 2tph to London Cannon Street via Sidcup and Woolwich Arsenal
• 2tph to Gravesend via Sidcup and Dartford
• 2tph to Orpington via Chislehurst, of which one per hour is extended to Sevenoaks
