Hiram Township is formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve. The village of Hiram, Ohio is located within this township, and the village of Garrettsville, Ohio is formed, in part, from the southeastern corner of this township. As of 2000, there were 2,296 people in the township. Hiram Township covers an area of 23 mi².
