High school senior
A high school senior is a student in the final year of secondary education in the United States and some other countries, generally 12 years after kindergarten or 17-18 years of age. In Singapore, the twelth grade is known as sec 4 or 5.

At the end of this school year, there is traditionally a graduation event with the seniors who have completed all of the required work. They also receive a class ring and diploma.
