Attorney Claire Kubik, who lives an idyllic life with her husband Tom, has her life shattered after a failed robbery attempt at their home. They are accosted by the FBI, and to Claire's shock, they arrest her husband. They charge him with the murder of El Salvadorian civilians under his previous identity of Ronald Chapman. Chapman was a covert military operative serving in the US Marines, and had been on the run for fifteen years.
