Hickory County, Missouri


 

Hickory County is a county located in the state of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 8,940. Its county seat is Hermitage6. The county was organized in 1845 and is named after U.S. President Andrew Jackson, nicknamed "Old Hickory."
