Hetty Wainthropp Investigates

Hetty Wainthropp Investigates is a semi-humourous English crime drama television series which ran from 1996 to 1998 on the BBC. A feature-length pilot episode had much earlier been screened in 1990, based on a 1986 novel. Patricia Routledge played the title character. Dominic Monaghan got his big break into acting on the show, playing her sidekick. Many of the episodes have been featured on the American program Mystery!.
