Hermitage AOC

Hermitage is an AOC for wine made near Lyon in France, in a fairly small area on a hill site near Tain l'Hermitage in the Rhône wine region

Most wines produced are red, a powerful, spicy, long lived wine from the Syrah grape. Whites are produced from Marsanne with some Roussanne, and vin de paille is also produced.
