Henry Green
Henry Green was the nom de plume of Henry Vincent Yorke (October 29, 1905-December 13, 1973) . He was born near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire of an educated family with successful business interests in Birmingham. He went to Eton College and Oxford, which he left in 1926 without taking a degree.
