Helmut Jahn
Helmut Jahn (b. January 14, 1940) is an architect, designer of dozens of major buildings throughout the world. Some of the better known among his creations are the Sony Center on the Potsdamer Platz, Berlin and the State of Illinois Center, Chicago.

- Saint Mary's College Athletic Facility - 1977 (pictures)
- State of Illinois Center - construction: 1979 - 1985; cost: $173 million; (pictures)
- First Source Center (pictures)
- United Airlines Terminal 1 at O'Hare International Airport - construction: 1985 to 1988; cost: $200 million; (pictures)
- Sony Center, Berlin - 2000. Seven building, mixed use complex, costing $800 million.
