Hell's Bells

"Hell's Bells" is the first track on Australian Hard Rock band AC/DC's album Back In Black. It is to this day still one of their most well known songs. It is also commonly played at sporting events; closers Trevor Hoffman of the San Diego Padres and Braden Looper of the New York Mets use the song as their entrance music when jogging to the mound and throwing their warmup pitches.

As an idiom, "Hell?s bells" is an exlamation and expression of surprise. It was shortened from the original "Hell?s bells and buckets of blood". Although this expression?s exact provenance is not known, it is believed to have originated aboard 17th century pirate ships.
