Heinrich George

Heinrich George (October 9, 1893 - September 26, 1946) was a German actor.

He acted in films such as Berlin Alexanderplatz and others and had one of first roles in Metropolis. Although active in the Communist Party of Germany before the Nazi takeover, he acted in a number of propaganda films before and during the war, including Hitlerjunge Quex, Jud Süß, and Kolberg. He died in 1946 in a Russian concentration camp, just north of Berlin, after an appendix operation.
