Hebron Academy is a private, co-ed, college preparatory boarding school located in the small town of Hebron, Maine. Founded in 1804, Hebron Academy has enjoyed a rich history of educating the leaders of the state of Maine, and the United States. U.S. President Abraham Lincoln's first vice-president, Hannibal Hamlin, was a graduate of the school.

The school currently serves grades 6-12, offering boarding for grades 9-12.

About 200 students attend the school, about half of whom live on campus. The majority of those who board come from the New England region, although there are small numbers form all over the United States. Hebron annually attracts a number of foreign students, either on exchange or for four-year study. Most come from the nations of Canada, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the region of Latin America.

Hebron has an excellent Hockey program, competing in Division 2 of the prestigious New England Prep School Ice Hockey Association. Other sports compete in both the New England leagues, and the local Maine leagues.

The school is quite isolated from the outside world, on a beautiful 1,500 acre (6.1 km²) campus. The small town adjacent to the school consists of only a fire station and a post office. Shopping, dining, and lodging are located about 20 minutes away. With few distractions from study, many believe the isolation contributes to the school's positive learning atmosphere
