Heartagram

The heartagram is the symbol of Finnish love-metal band HIM. It is the fusion of a heart symbol and a pentagram.

According to HIM front-man, Ville Valo, it represents both love and death. The balance of good and evil, the two main themes in life and is the common theme in Valo's lyrics.

Many people associate the heartagram with Bam Margera, thinking it to be his personal logo. In truth, Bam has legally licensed use of the heartagram from Valo. Though Bam has met and become friends with Valo and even directed four (and his own version of ?heartache every moment?) of the band's videos, that is the full extent of Bam's personal involvement with HIM. He is simply a big fan who adorns himself with their logo to show his love and appreciation of the band. Bam and Ville are reportedly close friends.
