Haverford Township is a township located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. Haverford Township is a municipaltity in Haverford PA. It also contains parts of Bryn Mawr, PA and Ardmore, PA. Haverford Township is in Delaware County, near the border of Montgomery County and just outside Philadelphia in southeastern Pennsylvania, USA. It is where the very selective Haverford College is located. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 48,498. The township is in the middle of selecting a plan with the delvelopers Goldenberg-Pohlig to develop the Haverford State Hospital land.
