Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Hattiesburg is a city located in Forrest County in Mississippi, a state of the United States of America. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 44,779. It is Mississippi's fourth-largest city and is known as "The Hub City". It has an incorporated suburb, Petal. It is the county seat of Forrest County{{GR|6}}. Hattiesburg is also the home of Camp Shelby and the University of Southern Mississippi.
