Haslev municipality
Haslev municipality is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 133 km², and has a total population of 14,781 (2005). Its mayor is Henrik Christensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.

The main town and site of its municipal council is the town of Haslev.

By January 1, 2007 Haslev municipality will cease to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It will be merged with existing Fakse and Rønnede municipalities to form the new Faxe municipality . This will create a municipality with an area of 406 km² and a total population of 34,313 (2005). The new municipality will belong to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region").
