Hasinai
The Hasinai (Hasí:nay in Caddo) were a confederation of Caddo-speaking Native Americans. They were known as the Tejas by Spanish explorers, being the plural Spanish version of the Caddo word táysha{{IPA|?}}, "friend". This name was later given to the state of Texas.
