Harvey County, Kansas
Harvey County (standard abbreviation: HV) is a county in the state of Kansas, located in the south central portion of the state, along the Little Arkansas River. The county seat and largest city is Newton. As of 2000, the population is 32,869. The county has FIPS Place Code 020079. Harvey County is part of the Wichita (Kansas) Metropolitan Statistical Area which also includes Butler, Sedgwick, and Sumner counties.
