Hart Hancock


 

Hart Hancock (born September 21, 1983 in Salinas, California) is the singer/lead guitarist for the progressive rock group Amphoteric. He is a talented and popular musician in the progressive rock genre and utilizes a mixture of styles when playing, from shredding to Atmospherics and everything in between.

Hart is also notable as one of relatively few users of the 7-string guitar. While he uses a conventional 6-string guitar in the majority of his compositions, he has used the 7-string in such songs as "Bleak", "The Origin of Consciousness", and "Thunder."
