Harrison, New Jersey
Harrison is a town located in Hudson County, New Jersey. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 14,424. The city is presently governed under the Faulkner Act (Mayor-Council) system of municipal government.
Geography
Harrison is located at 40°44'45" North, 74°9'18" West (40.745951, -74.155096){{GR|1}}.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²). 3.2 km² (1.2 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 6.82% water. It is one of the favorite places for international students - primarily Indians - attending the New Jersey Institute of Technology in neighboring Newark to live. The town has a sizeable population of such students.
