Harrah is a growing suburb located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma and is part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,719.

Harrah is the mix of a small town neighborhood with big city convenience. It is located just 25 miles east of downtown Oklahoma City, 15 minutes northeast of Tinker Air Force Base and roughly 25 minutes from major metropolitan shopping and the big city attractions. Also, within a 30 minute drive in any direction, Harrah residents can enjoy the outdoor opportunities at several recreational lakes including boating, skiing, camping, picnicking and fishing.

Most of the terrain is gently rolling with an abundance of trees and open spaces for experiencing beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Even the country's national symbol, the Bald Eagle, makes Harrah its home. The North Canadian River Valley in Harrah is a natural habitat and winter nesting site.

The Harrah School system has long been recognized as one of the best in the state. The curriculum builds from kindergarten through high school to include special classes in gifted/talented and special education.
