Performed with Edmund_Yates in "Invitations" at Egyptian Hall, London Dec. 1862–1863 a highly successful comedy in which Power and Yates posed as hosts to a variety of singers and actors, Power performing songs and imitations. It is thought Power did not continue any high profile theatrical work after his marriage to actress Ethel Lavenu in 1866. He was recorded as a Wine Merchant in the 1871 British Census, a Mine Agent in 1881, and a Mining Engineer in 1891. He died in London in 1901 leaving an estate of £37,000 Pound_sterling a large part of which was from a bequest from his brother Frederick Power, a wealthy engineer. He left two sons, George Arthur Power 1868–aft.1901, a theatrical actor, and Frederick Tyrone Edmund Power known as Tyrone Power, Sr. (see above).
