Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man is a 1991 action film,starring Mickey Rourke, Don Johnson, Tom Sizemore, Chelsea Field,Branscombe Richmond, Daniel Baldwin, Tia Carrere, Giancarlo Esposito, and the late Big John Studd. The film was written by Don Michael Paul and directed by Simon Wincer.
Plot
On the night of July 4, 1996, Harley Davidson (played by Mickey Rourke) is in a motel in Texas listening to a DJ on the radio talking about a new street drug called "Crystal Dream" that kills 1 in every 7 users. Harley leaves the motel on his motorcycle, rides across two states and arrives in Los Angeles. When there, he pulls into a gas station as it's being robbed by two holdup men. The robber with the gun tells him to hit the floor, but Harley outwits the gunman and the other robber with the knife and takes the gun.

Later that night at a bar, a cowboy named Robert Anderson nicknamed The Marlboro Man (played by Don Johnson) is playing pool with an Indian (played by Branscombe Richmond), Marlboro tells the Indian about the five rules of playing pool, Marlboro wins the games and demands that he pay what he bet, the Indian refuses. Harley Davidson arrives and tells Marlboro that he is the only cowboy in the place. The Indian pulls out a butterfly knife and they fight. Marlboro uses a pool stick to hit him, the Indian cuts him on the stomach, but the Marlboro Man hits him with a Q-ball and hits him hard. Marlboro and Harley leave the bar they are revealed to be friends. Marlboro asks where Harley has been the past two years, he says he was in Dallas, Texas fixing bikes and thinking, Marlboro tells him he thinks too much.

Later, the two friends are sitting at a billboard by the highway, Harley asks Marlboro about God. Marlboro say he would like to meet him, but not just yet. Marlboro tapes up an old pair of boots he is wearing cause they are tearing up.

Harley and Marlboro ride their bikes in town and arrive at their friend's bar, an old 1950's bar. Marlboro's motorcycle is not running great, he wants to put a bullet in it to put it out of its misery, Harley pulls out the gun he got from the robber and tries to shoot the bike and he misses. Marlboro can't believe he missed, Harley gives the gun to Marlboro and Marlboro tells Harley to sqeeze the trigger, not yank it. Marlboro shoots his own bike. They both go inside and see the Old Man (played by Julius Harris), whois glad to see Harley and Marlboro. Harley sees some guys in suits talk to the Old Man. Marlboro and Harley see Lulu Daniels (played by Vanessa Williams) singing on stage, Harley is looking at her, Marlboro tells him to stay away from her cause she is is married to their other friend, Jack Daniels (played by Big John Studd). Marlboro tells Harley that Jack is still pissed off at Harley for the fling he had with his wife. They go to a phone and dial a number,it is a secret door, their other friend Jose( played by Eloy Casados), who is a deaf-mute. Jose is glad to see them as well, but he tells Harley that Jack is here and should not go in, but Harley does. Their other friend Jimmy Jiles (played by Giancarlo Esposito), the Old Man's son is in the room, Jack is arm wrestling a man, he sees Harley and becomes fueled by anger to win the match. Jack wants to fight Harley, and Harley does well against him until Jack throws Harley out the window onto a car. Jack jumps on the car, hits Harley and tells him to stay away from Lulu since they are married. Jack forgives Harley after he takes this vow, and the two hug.

After the fight, Jimmy tells Jack that he was supposed to lose the arm wrestling match to make the money. Jimmy says that they are going to lose the bar because of their lease almost being up after 30 years. The bank holding the lease, the Great Trust Bank, is trying to strongarm the Old Man for a 2.5 million, five-year lease. Harley tells them that he knows how to get the money, by robbing the same bank that is trying to strong arm them. They all agree to go with the plan.

The next day, a money armoured truck from the bank, Jimmy, Jose are posing as road workers, Marlboro gets on the back of the truck, the next detour,they stop at a blocked off road,the truck man gets out of the truck and tells him to move, Harley points a shot gun at him.The other man in the truck hits a button,it is a silent alarm,he gets out of the truck and Marlboro shoots the gun out off the one guard's hand and shoots his belt off. The guard's are dealt with.A car pulls up with 5 man with machine guns are shooting, Harley, Marlboro, Jimmy and Jose are shooting at the guys and they aren't dropping cause they are wearing a steel jacket.Jack Daniels comes riding in on a motorcycle and causes it to slide into the car and blows it up,they gang get down to the tunnels into a truck with the loot.At the airplane graveyard,they discover the cargo they stole is not money,but drugs, it is the designer drug "Crystal Dream", they refuse to be drug dealers cause Jose's younger brother overdosed on it.

Later that night at the bar,Harley and Marlboro are having a drink, they are upset to find out someone is using a bank as a front to deal drugs. A waitress asks Harley if he will give her a ride home,Marlboro asks to borrow Harley's bike,tells Harley to get a cab. Marlboro is riding on the motorcycle and rides up to the cop and gives her the finger,he speeds and she chases him,they end up at her house,she is Virginia Slim(played by Chelsea Field),a girlfriend of Marlboro,later they are sleeping together,she tells marlboro she is getting married,she says she is tired of Marlboro not being around often and tells him he is not welcomed at her home after tonight.In the morning,Harley is cooking breakfast and Virginia sees Harley,they both go out to eat.At the diner,Harley asks her about Crystal Dream,she reveals it is a retina drug that causes hallucinations.

When Harley and Virgina get back to the house,she says goodbye to her as she is off to work. Marlboro is awake and is taping up his boots,Harley is asking about the boots and Marlboro is in no mood.Marlboro sees a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the garage,he knows who's it is, it is Virginia's fiancee's bike. Marlboro hotwires the bike and the 2 leave,the go to the "Great Trust" bank. A woman named Kimiko (played by Tia Carrere) greets them, they are taken to a office.Harley answers a phone, it is Chance Wilder (played by Tom Sizemore),the bank president and the man running the drugs. He is not to pleased that his drugs are stolen, he wants to know what Harley wants, Harley tells him 2.5 million dollars plus a buck cause of a bet he made with Marlboro.

Later at the airplane graveyard,the gang are waiting to exchange the drugs for the money. A helicopter lands and it is Alexander(played by Daniel Baldwin), leader of the suits. The drugs is exchanged for the money.Harley tosses a silver dollar coin to Marlboro.Later at the bar in the private room, the Old Man and Jimmy are happy to get the money, Marlboro is not to happy, he believes it was too easy.The guys see the suits, the Old man goes to talk to them, Alexander pulls out a gun and shoots the Old Man,a shootout begins. Jimmy and Jose get shot,Jack manages to kill one of the suits,Marlboro kills the other 2, Marlboro and Harley jump out of the window with the money and Jack is shot. Harley and Marlboro get to the nearby airport,they get into a cargo hold in the plane to get away from the 3 suits.

The plane goes to Las Vegas, Nevada, which is the Marlboro Man's birthplace. They rent a room in a hotel on the top floor.Marlboro is worried, Harley tells him to stop whining,that he sounds like Jimmy, Marlboro punches him for saying that about Jimmy cause Jimmy and the others being dead. Marlboro leaves the room and and calls Virginia.Harley sees the silver dollar on the floor, he sees a red glow on the side of dollar, now he knows how the suits found them.Marlboro is in the lounge,he sees the suits,goes up to the room and tells Harley they need to get out of there, they run to the roof,and they are taking cover from the suits's gunfire.Harley sees they have a way to escape by jumping from the roof and into the swimming pool, Marlboro doesn't like the idea, but jumps anyways,they escape again.Later, on a train,Marlboro tells Harley they need to go back to L.A. to make things right, but Harley doesn't want to get killed.Marlboro jumps off the train.

In L.A., Marlboro goes to Virginia's house,her fiancee tells himshe is asleep, Marlboro tells him to wake her up,Virginia and Marlboro talk,he tells her she is the best thing to have ever been in his life.He leaves.Virginia,says something to him, showing she still has feelings for Marlboro.A motorcycle comes close, it is Harley Davidson,he wants to make things right.Harley was late cause he had a lay over in Denver.

At the billboard, Marlboro is taping his boots again.Harley pleads to Marlboro to tell him about the boots.Marlboro tells Harley that his father gave him the boots cause Marlboro was a bull rider in a professional rodeo,the first and last thing his father gave him before he died.Marlboro felt it was between him and him dad,that is why he never told Harley about it.Harley and Marlboro make their plan to deal with the suits,Harley activates the homing device in the coin.

Later on,a helicopter,Alexander and the other 2 suits locate Harley and Marlboro at the airplane graveyard,the helicopter pilot named Thom(played by Robert Ginty),tells a war story,Alexander tells him to shut up.At the graveyard,the chopper lands,the suits locate the signal in one of the airplanes,the coin is in the briefcase,Alexander is mad,but he and the other 2 see Harley and Marlboro standing nearby.Marlboro tells Harley to sqeaze the trigger when shooting.The shootout begins,Marlboro shoots thefirst 2 in the head.Alexander shoots Marlboro in the arm,and is caught.Harley tries to shoot Alexander,but shoots Marlboro in the arm.Harley is thinking,Marlboro tells Harley to shoot,not to think,Harley makes his first shot,he and Marlboro kill Alexander.

Aboard the helicopter,Thom is pleased that Harley and Marlboro killed the suits.Harley gives Thom some money,the chopper lands on the topm of the "Great Trust" building.Chance Wilder is in the top office talking to some Japanese business men,he sees Harley and Marlboro leaving the helicopter.Harley and Marlboro get in an elevator and arrive at the office and meet Chance Wilder.Marlboro asks him to turn the lease over to the bar,but refuses,Harley tells Marlboro to kill him,but won't shoot an unarmed man.Two suits show up,they are about to kill Harley and Marlboro,but the helicopter,piloted by Thom,shoots the 2 suits,Harley tells Chance that he did that for free.Harley gives Chance his gun though it has no bullets,Marlboro decides to fight Chance,and causes Chance to go by to glassless window,he grabs onto Marlboro's boot,Marlboro is slipping near the edge,Harley saves him.Chance tries to hang on,but the boot is tearing apart and he falls to his death.

A couple of days pass by,at a rodeo,Marlboro has a new pair of boots.Marlboro is back in the professional rodeo.Harley and Marlboro say goodbye to each other,and Harley leaves,he sees a beautiful hitchhiker,he gives her a ride,they are riding away.
