Hans Kmoch
Johann Joseph ("Hans") Kmoch (1894–1973) was a chess International Master (1950) and International Arbiter (1951). He became best known as a chess author. In 1959 he wrote Pawn Power in Chess (German: Die Kunst der Bauernführung).
