~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Hanne Hiob is the daughter of Bertolt Brecht and Marianne Zoff. She grew up with her mother and the German actor Theo Lingen. She studied dance at the Vienna opera house in Austria. She worked as a dancer and an actress in Salzburg, Austria. At the premiere of Brecht's Die heilige Johanna der Schlachth?fe in 1959 she played the leading role unter Gustav Gr?ndgens. Since then she has played in many theaters in Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Hiob retired from the stage in 1976 but is still active reading Brecht works and participating in street theater projects such as the "Anachronistic Train". She has been awarded a number of prizes for her work as an actress and for her work against fascism, racism and war. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
