Hanharr

Hanharr is a Wookiee in the PC and Xbox game , and can play different roles within the game, depending on the alignment of the player character. Hanharr is a psychotic bounty hunter, whom many fans disliked, since he is the first 'evil Wookiee' to be used in a game (although he was preceded by Chuundar in the first game), and a strong contrast with the courageous Zaalbar who travelled with Revan.

Hanharr is encountered on the planet Nar Shaddaa, as is Mira, another bounty hunter. One of these will join the party of the Jedi Exile, as is determined by the personality of the player character. Light-side players will be joined by Mira, dark-siders will be joined by Hanharr.

There is also a history between Hanharr and Mira. Previously, Hanharr had been employed to hunt Mira, and had trapped her in a series of sewers, where he planned to ambush her. However, his ambush backfired, and an explosive he himself set denoated with him nearby, almost killing him. Mira took pity on the wounded Wookiee, however, and dragged him to safety. In Wookiee culture, such an act demands a life-debt, but Hanharr could not stand the prospect, and thus it filled him with an overwhelming desire to kill Mira. It is unknown as to whether Mira knew she would then be owed a life debt, and it is certain that she wasn't keen on the idea, but Hanharr disliked it even more so. Regardless of his knowing that the life debt was a tradition of his people, he detested the idea, because it made him weak. He serves his life debt to Mira, but believed that by killing her he could free himself. Thus he swings between wanting to kill her and following her in the shadows.

On Nar Shaddaa, two possible things can occur. If the Jedi Exile follows the way of the light side, then Mira is captured by Visquis, an overseer for the criminal gang called The Exchange, and Visquis allows Hanharr to kill her. However, in a surprising turn of events, Mira defeats Hanharr, and escapes. After this, Hanharr is found by Kreia, the mentor of the Jedi Exile, and she takes him into her service. However, so as to maintain his servitude, she promises that she will show him no mercy or pity. Later, when the heroes travel to Malachor V, Hanharr confronts Mira once again, and loses. (The player controlling Mira can choose to either kill or spare Hanharr, although this decision does not affect gameplay.)

As a Wookiee, Hanharr is extremely strong, and is most useful as a melee combatant. He typically wields two vibroblades.
