Demographics

Hamilton is growing to be a very diverse society. Many immigrants also settle in this city, mostly from the Pacific Islands. Hamilton is still largely European mostly of British origins, but there also Polish, Italian, and Yugoslav origins as well. According to New Zealand statistics office, Hamilton is, White: 79.2%, Maori: 15%, and the remaining population consists of Asians, and Pacific Islanders.
