![]() Hallelujah, Halleluyah, or Alleluia, is a transliteration of the Hebrew word הַלְּלוּיָהּ (Standard Hebrew Halləluya, Tiberian Hebrew Halləl?yāh) meaning " praise (הַלְּלוּ) God (יָהּ)" (or "Praise (הַלְּלוּ) Lord (יָהּ)".)
