Hall of Fame for Great Americans

The Hall of Fame for Great Americans is a structure on the grounds of the New York University, completed in 1900. A prominent feature of the structure is a colonnade, 500 feet (c 153m) in length, with 150 panels. Each panel is 7 feet (c 2.1m) long and 11/4 feet (c 0.3m) high. Each panel was designed to hold a bronze tablet bearing the name of the person commemorated, and the dates of his birth and death, plus more.
