Halford (band)
Halford is the solo band formed by Rob Halford of Judas Priest in 2000. The band is a more traditional heavy metal band after Halford's two other post-Judas Priest bands, Fight and Two. Rob was joined by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden for a song entitled "The One You Love to Hate" for the Resurrection album. Resurrection made the cut in The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time by Martin Popoff, and the Halford songs "Silent Screams" and "Resurrection" both made the book The Top 500 Heavy Metal Songs of All Time. During one live show in 2001, not only Bruce Dickinson, but Geoff Tate of Queensryche joined Rob on stage for "The One You Love to Hate". The Halford band has been on hold since 2004 when Rob Halford rejoined Judas Priest and consequently toured with them and released Angel of Retribution.
