Half & Half

The television situation comedy Half & Half looks at the lives of fictional half-sisters Mona and Dee Dee Thorne as they take their sibling rivalries and contentious relationship into adulthood. It debuted on UPN in the 2002-03 lineup. It stars Rachel True as Mona and Essence Atkins as Dee Dee, and features Telma Hopkins as Mona?s mother, Phyllis Thorne; Valarie Pettiford as Dee Dee?s mother, ?Big? Dee Dee Thorne; Chico Benymon as Mona?s friend and co-worker, Spencer Williams; and Alec Mapa as Mona?s friend and assistant, Adam Benet. MC Lyte guest stars as Mona?s boss, Kai Owens, and Obba Babatund? plays Mona and Dee Dee?s father, Charles Thorne. The show is set in San Fransisco.
