Hadfield


 
 

Hadfield is a small town in High Peak, Derbyshire, England. It is just on the west side of the Peak District, near Glossop, and within the sphere of influence of Greater Manchester.

The town has a mainline rail station on a line into Manchester Piccadilly, and is on the A628 road, linking the Manchester area with Barnsley.

Hadfield is popular with walkers especially during the summer months and the Longdendale Trail which runs along the Longdendale valley to Woodhead Tunnel starts in Hadfield.

The television series The League of Gentlemen was filmed in Hadfield.
