Gunbuster
Gunbuster, known in Japan as Aim for the Top! (トップをねらえ! Top o Nerae!) is a six episode anime OVA series created by Gainax in 1988. It was Hideaki Anno's directorial debut, who is best known for role as the director of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The title is a parody of the classic tennis anime Aim for the Ace! (エースをねらえ! Ace o Nerae!). A sequel known as Gunbuster 2 (トップをねらえ! Top o Nerae 2!), with all new characters, was begun in 2004. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
