Guiltware is type of software/shareware methodology.

Like other shareware marketing techniques, guiltware is distributed freely, and the user is usually allowed or encouraged distribute it personally. Where guiltware differs is in the methodology involved in actually inducing the user to remunerate the author. Guiltware, as its name suggests, attempts to guilt the user into paying by getting personal and telling the story of those that depend on the money it generates for survival. Guiltware can easily overlap donationware.
