Grounded for Life
Grounded for Life is an American television sitcom. It debuted in 2001 as a mid-season replacement on the FOX Network, where it ran for two seasons until being cancelled. It was immediately picked up for a third season by the WB Network, where it aired until its cancellation in January of 2005. Its reruns currently air in syndication on ABC Family.

Grounded For Life was notable for its unusual plot structure, which always included a flashback device whenever characters were telling stories - The main method used in unraveling the plots.

The program was one of the very few sitcoms in which the family was affiliated with a church. The Finnerty children attended a private Catholic school and were taught by a disapproving nun named "Sister Helen."
