Gresham, Oregon
Gresham is a city located in Multnomah County, Oregon about 18km east of Portland. It was named for the American Civil War general Walter Quinton Gresham. As of 2004, the city had a total population of 94,250. This makes Gresham the fourth largest city in Oregon.

The city of Gresham is governed by an elected mayor and city council, who are elected to four year terms. The city council consists of the mayor and six councelors, representing various districts.
