Biffle started competing in NASCAR's top circuit in 2003, having a generally mediocre season that resulted in a 20th place points finish. Though he finished second to Jamie McMurray for Raybestos Rookie of the Year, Biffle's debut season did see him earn his first win at Daytona International Speedway. Greg Biffle showed steady improvement over the 2004 season as he earned two more race wins en route to a 17th place finish in the points. 2005 is proving to be Biffle's breakout season, as he is currently in close contention for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship. He has five wins and is third in the Nextel Cup points standings as of the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono.
