Greencastle, Indiana

Greencastle is a city located in Putnam County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 9,880. The city is the county seat of Putnam County{{GR|6}}. It is located near Interstate 70 between Terre Haute and Indianapolis in the southwestern portion of the state.
