Grappenhall is a district in Warrington, Cheshire. It is situated along the Bridgewater Canal.

St Wilfrid's church has a carving of a cat on the West face of the tower. This is believed to be Lewis Caroll's inspiration for the grinning Cheshire Cat in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
