Grants Pass, Oregon

Grants Pass is a city and the county seat of Josephine County, Oregon{{GR|6}}. It is believed that its name is somehow related to general Ulysses S. Grant's capture of Vicksburg, Mississippi in 1863. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 23,003. Its sister city is Rubtsovsk, Russia.
